SYSTEM UNIT

                                    1) RAM (RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY)




This is a form of computer data storage. Moreover it's a computer memory that can be accessed randomly.

                                             2) CACHE MEMORY

                                                         


It's a CPU cache that is used by central processing unit of a computer to reduce the average time to access memory.

                                             3) ROM- READ ONLY MEMORY



This is a class of storage medium used in computers and other electronic devices to prerecord data and ones data has been written into a ROM chip, it cannot be removed. It can only be read.

                                              4) FLASH MEMORY



This is a non volatile computer storage that can be electronically erased and reprogrammed. It's primarily used in memory cards, USB flash drives and Mp3 players for general storage and transfer of data between computers and other digital products.

                                            5) GRAPHIC CARD


It's a piece of hardware installed in a computer that is responsible for rendering the image on the computer monitor or display screen.

                                           6) SOUND CARD



It's an internal computer expansion card that facilitates the input and output of audio signals to and from computer under control of computer programs.

                                      7) NETWORK INTERFACE CARD



It's an extension board you insert into a computer so the computer can be connected to a network. It allows computers to be joined together.

                                                  8) PLUG AND PLAY



It refers to the ability of a computer system to automatically configure expansion boards and other devices.

                                                 9) SERIAL PORT



It's an interface that can be used for serial communication, in which only one bit transmitted at a time.

                                              10) PARALLEL PORT



It's an interface found on computers for connecting various peripherals, such as printers.

                                     11)  UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS PORT



It's an external bus standard that supports data transfer rates of 12 Mbps. Moreover it's used to establish communication between devices and host controllers.
